Recipe : Roasted Almond Meringue Cloud
ingredients:
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
½ teaspoon salt
Method: Preheat oven to 200 ° C. Meanwhile, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Tip the almonds in a skillet and toast over medium heat. Continue to stir and roast until fragrant almonds. Turn off heat and keep aside to cool. Transfer the egg whites in a blender and blend on medium speed. Now, beat granulated sugar in three parts, maintaining a gap of 20 seconds between each addition. Next time in the sugar, salt and a cup of toasted almonds and mix well. Using a spatula, remove piles of meringue oval and place on the prepared baking sheet. Top clouds of meringue with the remaining toasted almonds. Bake for about 2 hours and serve.
